Meghan Markle Says THESE Are Her Three Major Style Muses
As an actress on Suits and Prince Harry’s girlfriend, Meghan Markle’s style star has been steady on the rise, with her classically chic looks serving as MAJOR inspo to gals the world over. It’s pretty easy to see why: Just check out the Antonio Bernardi double-breasted sleeveless dress and Babaton overcoat she donned for her very first public outing with the prince and the sweet and charitable Share Joy bracelet that she accessorized it with!
As it turns out, there are actually several women the 35-year-old looks up to herself in the style department (and no, they’re NOT Middletons, though she is mindful of their fashions, reportedly holding off on buying a dress to Pippa’s wedding so as not to step on Kate’s toes). In an interview with Good Housekeeping that’s making the rounds, the now defunct Tig website founder revealed which ladies caught her sartorial eye. Read on to see who she cited below.
1. Gwyneth Paltrow: The Goop founder has been Markle’s go-to for some time now, remaining her one staple as her fashion sense evolves. “I always say Gwyneth Paltrow, but it’s changing,” the actress revealed. “As I’m taking more risks personally, I am responding to other people who take a little more fashion [risk].” (Photo via Paul Archuleta/FilmMagic/Getty)
2. Miranda Kerr: The Victoria’s Secret model is one of those risk-takers. “I love how Miranda Kerr dresses,” Markle gushed. “A bit more playful.” (Photo via Gilber Carrasquillo/Getty)
3. Olivia Palermo: Last but not least is former The City alum Olivia Palermo. As Markle puts it, “I mean…she’s everyone’s style crush.” She isn’t kidding: Palermo is actually rumored to be the RL inspo behind Blair Waldorf’s character on Gossip Girl! (Photo via Sean Zanni + Patrick McMullen/Getty)
