This Super Weird Accessory Helps Keep Your Wedding Ring Safe
There are things you’re cool with getting a little scuffed up: that $5 H&M dress, your super old pair of converse and maybe even your week-old mani. RingSkin is essentially a clear, plastic band that slips over your ring to protect it while you workout or participate in activities that might scratch the metal or diamonds and gems on your ring. It has an opening where your diamond would likely be so that it can still sparkle while the metal stays protected. The commercial boasts that “no one will ever know you have it on,” but we have to disagree on that point. It’s noticeable, but if it keeps your ring looking great while you’re being active it could be well worth the trade-off. Overall, the RingSkin definitely gives off a bit of an infomercial-ish vibe, but we have to admit it’s a pretty practical idea.
