There’s a Facebook Messenger Bot That Will Deliver Pizza to Your House
Pizza is the great equalizer. No matter how you eat it: Deep dish, thin crust, packed with toppings or just plain cheese, there’s a slice for you. And, increasingly, there are almost as many ways to order your pizza as there are, well, ways to order it. Domino’s is leading the pack with innovative methods to place your order. Case in point: You can now order a Domino’s pizza from DOM The Pizza Bot on Facebook Messenger.
To order their ‘za, customers need to first set up an Easy Order account with their address, and then link that to their Facebook accounts. Then just send “PIZZA” to DOM the bot on Messenger. However, there’s a big caveat: For now, DOM is only available to customers in the UK and Ireland. But that doesn’t mean we won’t have it soon.
Domino’s is constantly using new social media to allow us to get our cheesy, gooey pizza fix. Remember that “text an emoji for pizza” promo? And there’s the Domino’s app and website that revolutionized the pizza-ordering games. You can also use your voice to order pizza through Amazon Alexa. But no matter how you order, the most satisfying part of the pizza experience will always remain the moment when that beautiful combination of dough, cheese and sauce hits your tastebuds.
