January is the perfect month to cozy up by the fire and watch all of the movies and TV shows that are up for awards. You don’t want to miss out on that one film that’s getting all the accolades, right? Once you’re all studied up, shift your focus to the award show party you are about to throw. What better excuse to get your friends together than a glamorous evening of ooo-ing and ahhh-ing at the stars of Hollywood?
Today we’ve teamed up with the folks at Triscuit to bring you the ultimate award show party. Of course, we’ve got some delicious appetizers that your guests will love. The great thing about Triscuit crackers is that you can add simple ingredients to create award-worthy apps. In fact, ours are red-carpet ready with their red ingredients. See what we did there? :)
Triscuit + Tomato + Mozzarella + Red Chili Flakes
This takes the classic caprese, ditches the basil and adds a kick! We think our favorite actors would approve.
Just add a small slice of tomato, a mozzarella ball and a pinch of chili flakes. This one wins Best Zingy Flavor.
The possibilities are endless with these delicious crackers.
Triscuit + Roasted Red Pepper + Goat Cheese + Asparagus
These flavor-rich ingredients are perfect for a Triscuit. The flavor of the roasted veggies with the smooth goat cheese and the cracker crunch will leave you wanting more.
Simply buy pre-roasted peppers and cut them into pieces that will fit your Triscuit crackers. Then roast some asparagus and cut off the tips. Add a pepper to a cracker, smear on some goat cheese and top with an asparagus tip.
We’re awarding this one Best Looking (and tasting).
Along with your appetizers, you’ll need a bar, a photo booth and a game. And we’ve got you covered.
Photo Booth
Keep it classy (and glamorous) with a sequined backdrop. We got a copper sequin tablecloth that worked perfectly.
Then add some balloons with awards written on them so you can hand them out to the winners of your party.
Champagne Bar
We are stepping it up a notch with a champagne bar.
Does it get any better than a champagne tower? We think not!
Stack glasses into a tower and pour champagne over the top. Watch as all the glasses overflow and fill the next row. So fun!
Be sure to provide toppings like berries and citrus for your friends to add to their drinks DIY style.
Award Show Bingo
Though the award show will be entertaining in itself, keep your friends engaged with award show bingo and use Triscuit crackers as the markers!
Add boxes that say things like “someone trips as they get on stage” or “someone thanks their wife” and see where the night takes you. Feel free to eat the Triscuit crackers as you go — they’re also delicious on their own!
