We Finally Know Why The Bachelor’s Corinne Had on an Engagement Ring
Corinne may have already been deemed the villain of Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor (seriously, the other ladies didn’t even have a chance), particularly after Monday night’s episode, but that doesn’t mean she’s about to tame her antics any time soon. From whipped cream-covered cleave to a nearly nude photo shoot, she certainly knows how to stir up the drama. And though we were all wondering if her wild ways had actually captured Nick’s heart after spotting her out and about with a diamond engagement ring, it turns out there was a totally cheeky reason behind it.
The pic caused major speculation when it popped up on Instagram, with all eyes glued to the diamond ring she was wearing. Not exactly showing it off but perfectly placing her hand in a way to make sure that the ring would be noticed, Bachelor fans were quick to jump on the sitch.
But now, we know what’s up, and though that is in fact an engagement ring, it actually belongs to the other gal in the pic, social media personality Claudia Oshry.
“We were hanging out Friday night and, since I just got engaged, I was letting everyone try my ring on,” Claudia told Entertainment Tonight. And though she CLAIMS they didn’t do it on purpose — “We were having so much fun, taking photos, drinking — we didn’t even realize until every website was calling me and writing it up!” — Corinne’s mom revealed that there may have been a totally cheeky intention behind it. “They did it as a spoof! Actually, it’s the comedian who’s engaged. It’s Claudia’s ring. They wanted to do a little skit thing. A spoof.”
It looks like Corinne may be as skilled at teasing fans as she is at teasing Nick!
