She changed it up AGAIN.

You’ll Hardly Recognize Katy Perry As a Super Short Platinum Blonde

You’ll Hardly Recognize Katy Perry As a Super Short Platinum Blonde

Katy Perry shocked the world last week by showing up to the Grammys in just about the only hair color/style she’s yet to pull off: a blonde bob.

While we were super bummed to hear her (inadvertently?) shading Britney Spears in the process (Katy joked about reserving the act of shaving her head for a mental breakdown, to which Britney may or may not have responded with this EPIC Bible quote), we were quite taken with the new look. It was certainly a change from the raven-hued locks we’ve gotten so used to seeing over the years, but we felt that it could definitely grow on us, ya know?

Miss Katy had other plans, however. Less than one week after debuting her new ‘do to the world, she’d already changed it up again, showing up to the Marc Jacobs fall runway show with MUCH shorter (think above her chin) and MUCH blonder hair. WHOA.

As far as we know, this is pretty much the shortest Katy’s hair has ever been, and while she’s actually a natural blonde (who knew?), this may also be her blondest venture yet.

From the back, we’d never even have recognized her! Between the hair, her new shoe line and her new single of “Chained to the Rhythm,” we guess she wasn’t kidding when she Instagrammed “New life who dis?”
