The Victoria’s Secret Angels All Do THIS Genius Trick With Their Hair

It’s a pain (and annoying) to spend a bunch of time creating perfectly-cascading curls that actually hold their style throughout the night. It’s also not easy, but it can be done if you have the right tools, tricks and tips on hand. We are always on the lookout for genius hair hacks that make this whole process simpler and we just spotted a really good one thanks to the Victoria’s Secret Angels currently prepping for their big fashion show on December 8. Yes, we discovered the secret. And it’s genius.

Professional catwalk strutters Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Devon Windsor, Cindy Bruna and Ming Xi were all photographed behind-the-scenes of bras’ biggest night revealing the trick to gorgeous date night-approved bedhead curls. Before strutting onstage, they were all wearing a mesh hair net that held their curls up. Bonus, this also kept their hair out of their faces as their makeup was perfected.

It’s pretty smart and simple to DIY. After curling your hair, loosely scrunch your curls up and pin them to set on the top of your head — this process will help hold their bounce and style. After that, cover your curls with a mesh hair net. This will not only keep the curls in place after they’ve been set, but will also hold any pieces that fall out of your face.

When you’re ready to go out, remove the mesh hair net, un-pin your curls and fluff them up until you achieve the look you’re going for. Bonus: Your waves will have extra oomph and volume after you let them down! We love this hair hack because it allows you to enhance your curls without adding extra steps or products to your routine. All while keeping hair out of your face.

Okay, this may not be Vicky’s main secret, but it’s a good one that we’re happy we’re in on.
