‘Tis the season for gift giving! This year we are all about adding delightful details and bright finishing touches to our gift wrapped packages, mixing and matching different colored wrapping paper, ribbons and gift toppers to make a cheerful assortment of gifts under our Christmas tree. Learn how to make one of our favorite holiday embellishments in the form of these sweet and simple paper bows!
– ruler
– scissors
– tape
Instructions:
1. Measure and cut out a total of seven strips from your colorful wrapping paper: three strips at 10 x 1 inches, three strips at 8.5 x 1 inches and one strip at 4 x 1 inches. We used paper from Love. Luck. Kisses & Cake.
2. Twist the 10-inch and eight-and-a-half-inch strips so that they have a loop on each side, securing them in place with tape. Make a single, small looped ring with the final four-inch strip.
3. Starting with the 10-inch strip, stack the looped strips on top of each other using tape to secure each layer. Complete your bow with the final single looped ring in the center.
