Facebook Is Introducing a Brand New App That’s Just for Teens
When you’re in the 20 or younger set, it can start to feel like you’re excluded from everything: You can’t get into the bar; you can only go to select concerts, and the list goes on and on.
Restricted to create a safe place for teens, the app can be downloaded by just about anyone, but you’ll only have access to a network (found by entering your high school) if you fit the age requirements.
Dubbed Lifestage, the app has you fill out a questionnaire of sorts to be completed only through video.
For example, if the app asks for your happy face, you film your best smile for the cam, and so on, and so forth.
Gathering info on everything from your range of emotions to the way you eat or dance, the app then uses your videos in place of likes or dislikes or comments.
A personalized GIF to express your every mood? Okay, we’re admittedly a little jealous.
Considering the fact that we can enjoy an adult beverage at our every whim, we guess it’s only fair.
We GUESS.
