Everything You Need to Know About Gwyneth Paltrow’s New Clothing Line
Sure, Gwyneth’s lifestyle brand Goop definitely gets a lot of flack for being so extravagantly luxurious (see Goop’s $10,000 gift guide), but considering the cult following she’s managed to accumulate, we’re going to say it’s Gwyneth who’s getting the last laugh. Goop originally started as a weekly newsletter, but the publication has recently expanded to sell beauty products, and they’ve actually been receiving some rave reviews. So what’s next for the swanky Hollywood brand? Why, a clothing line, of course.
According to Racked, Gwyneth dished about the upcoming addition to Goop while at a recent event for her newest cookbook. She told guests, “I’ve been working on apparel — apparel is next. In September, we’re going to launch apparel, and it’s very exciting.”
Gwyneth didn’t reveal any details other than the release date, but if we had to guess what the upcoming line will entail based off her Goop by Juice Beauty drop, we’d say it will likely include a limited number of pieces (perhaps 10 or fewer) that are all super minimal and meant to go with everything – and that’s probably ideal, considering they’ll likely cost you a month’s pay each. (Between us, we’re not-so-secretly hoping for a t-shirt that says, “I’d eat crack over spray cheese,” but somehow we’re thinking that’s very unlikely.)
