No Snoozing Allowed: This Bed Literally Kicks You Out of Bed
More often than not, it can be real rough getting up and out of bed bright and early to make it out the door on time. Comfy pillows and warm blankets are more than a little tough to leave, okay?! If you’re a professional snooze-button pusher, finding yourself always getting ready in a rush and almost missing your way to work, you will totally be into one guy’s crazy invention: an ejecting bed. We’re intrigued and terrified all at once.
Inventor and YouTuber Colin Furze recently debuted his latest invention, The High Voltage Ejector Bed, which literally gets you up and out of bed. No snoozing allowed here. Never live in fear of oversleeping again, as the air compressor-powered, custom-built bed frame will lift into the air, making you slide/fly off the mattress. At the moment there’s only one of these insane beds, Colin’s, and as you can see from the video it’s definitely not super safe. The semi-dangerous mattress invention appears to be more of a ride or a device asking for those in REM sleep to be injured. So at the moment we’ll just be watching the action safely from Colin’s vid and not requesting one for our bedroom ;)
