If you turn to the same eyeshadow hue every day or haven’t swapped out your go-to lipstick since last season, it’s time to mix it up! Breaking out a seasonal color or using a new application technique is an easy way to switch up your look — just ask the founders of San Francisco-based beauty studio FaceWest.
Sisters and co-founders Petra and Pavla Langer opened their makeup, waxing, and lash studio in June 2017 to educate and beautify women in the Bay Area. The self-proclaimed makeup mavens and their team of pro artists offer classes to help clients stay on top of trends and techniques in an approachable, fun setting. Naturally, we headed to FaceWest to learn about the fall trends we needed to know about.
Check out the video above to learn a little something about seasonal updates like the dewy, glossy eye and the Korean beauty-inspired blurred lip, both edgy additions to a traditional look. After that, watch as a FaceWest makeup artist creates a holiday-ready, warm cranberry-hued eye.
