Jena Malone’s Newborn Baby Is Already the Biggest Fan of Her Music
Jena Malone has been one busy lady as of late — between your typical new mom duties (she gave birth to son Ode Mountain just this May) and recent roles in both Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and The Neon Demon, the actress has also been scouting for new tunes with which to lull Ode to sleep (or wake him up, depending)!
As it turns out, she didn’t have to look very far, however: Ode’s favorite? Jena’s own album, released just over a year ago.

Posting this dreamy album cover to Instagram, Jena writes, “My band, #theshoe, is on Apple Music. As a new mom, being able to have so much music at my fingertips is amazing. I’ve been discovering so many bands that soothe and excite my son. I just played him our album I’m Okay and his eyes lit up and he started laughing. Pretty much made my whole year.”
Awwww, that’s so cute, it would probably make our year too!
Jena went on to invite us all to check out the album as well, saying, “Take a listen. Take off your coat. Do your dishes with a smile on your face. Sending you lots of love. XX.”
