It’s no secret that we’re addicted to Pinterest, and we like to think some small portion of Pinterest is equally addicted to us. When we were invited to attend Pinterest’s Summer Party yesterday, we were intrigued. What adorable bites and DIY projects might be awaiting us? What awesomeness might they announce?

With the launch of brand new apps for iPhone, iPad, Android, and Android Tablets, and about a dozen different edibles, drinkables, and craftables in mason jars, Team Pinterest definitely didn’t disappoint.

The new suite of apps is all about making the Pinterest experience even more united with projects around the home, travel adventures, and other creative pursuits. Instead of sitting in front of your computer drooling over all sorts of new recipes, fire up Pinterest on your mobile app for a more active user experience.

As they wrote in the announcement and said at the party, “It may sound funny, but our goal has never been to keep you online. Instead, we want to inspire you to go offline and do things that you love.” This idea totally resonates with us here at Brit + Co., and we’re super excited about a newly improved mobile pinning experience.

But back to the party! Pictured above are some bits of goodness we partook in, including white chocolate confetti popcorn, DIY mason jar terrariums, succulent cupcakes, and sand dollar cookies. Yum!

And, of course, a Fuji Instax photo booth complete with mustaches, glasses, and bow ties.

Plus, it was super fun to get a little peek at Pinterest’s new headquarters. Loving their Pinterest clock, pillow, and icon brainstorming session.

Have you downloaded the new Pinterest app for your mobile device? If so, what do you think? Where do you see room for improvement? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below or on Twitter, and be sure to follow us on Pinterest! ;)
