Starbucks Unleashes Vampire Frappuccino for Halloween But There’s a Catch
As we eagerly await for confirmation of that rumored, uber-scary Zombie Frappuccino that’s reportedly set to debut stateside on October 26, our friends over in the UK are in for a very *different* type of fright. And this one comes with fangs (sort of).
Starbucks UK announced the Vampire Frappuccino, a slightly different take on the US’s fang-tastic Frappula Frappuccino from 2015 and 2016.
Where the Frappula boasted mocha and white chocolate mocha sauce, milk, and strawberry puree, the Vampire Frapp is made with chocolate cream frappuccino (mocha sauce, whole milk, and ice) base paired with bright red strawberry sauce and, of course, plenty of whipped cream topped with even more blood — er, strawberry sauce.
And, as if that wasn’t spooky enough, they’ve also got some sweet treats to go with it, like the Pumpkin Gingerbread Cookie and the Mummy Biscuit that are both, TBH, almost too cute to eat.
Available from now through October 31, there’s just enough time for you to hop a flight across the pond to try them all for yourself. (We kid, we kid! Sort of). Or, perhaps we can pull this one off with a secret menu-style order when the zombie powder inevitably runs out? It’s gotta be worth a shot!
