“True Blood” Star Rutina Wesley Is Engaged — See the Ring!
Coming out isn’t always easy, but True Blood star Rutina Wesley just did it in a way that was full of blissful love — she announced that she’s engaged!
Letting fans in on the big news via Instagram, the 38-year-old posted several photos of herself and her love, Chef Shonda, along with a message saying, “Overthinking is the biggest cause of our unhappiness. Keep yourself occupied. Keep your mind off things that don’t help you. Think positive.”

The actress, who currently plays Nova Bordelon on Queen Sugar, also shared a peek at her engagement ring, which confirmed the happy news along with her second hashtag, #AlwaysMORENeverLESSISaidYES.
Wesley posted a pic of herself and her love just a few days ago with the caption, “#FromTheInsideOut You are the sunshine of my life….” While it wasn’t exactly a full-on confirmation of their relationship at the time, it now sounds like these two may have found their happily-ever-after together.
