Amy Schumer Reveals the Surprising Thing She’s Most Afraid Of
Amy Schumer may have a pretty packed schedule, but it seems she spends most of her non-working time with her boyfriend, Ben Hanish. While their Instagram pics show a loving pair enjoying life (and their puppy) as much as they obviously enjoy each other’s company, Amy admits that her greatest fear actually has to do with her relationship. In fact, her greatest fear is love itself.
Appearing on the latest cover of Marie Claire, Amy chatted with the mag for an interview that covered everything from her first (and not so nice) sexual experience to her current career that is so jam-packed that she can barely keep track.
But it’s the topic of love that had Amy revealing what truly frightens her. “Being in love is the scariest thing in the world. You want to f-ing cry and scream. I can’t handle it. Every time we say good-bye, I think, ‘This will have been a nice last week together.’ Or I tell myself nothing is real and he’s going to leave me and tell me he never loved me.” Oof. Sounds like girl has some issues to work through when it comes to accepting her awesomeness relationship-wise.
Admitting that it surely isn’t the easiest thing for Ben to deal with, she added, “I feel so bad for him. How exhausting it must be dating me.” Oh, Amy <3. Exhausting or not, it seems as though BOTH parties find this relationship totally worth it, and it doesn’t look like Ben’s going anywhere anytime soon.
