Anne Hathaway Buried Her Feud With Kim Kardashian in a Super Sweet Way
Kim Kardashian is certainly no stranger to celeb feuds (just ask Taylor Swift), but now it looks like she can put at least some of the Hollywood-based hostility behind her. That’s because Anne Hathaway, who’s totally willing to admit when she’s made a mistake (just like she did after posting a pic of her baby boy), has just buried the hatchet in a super sweet way.
For those who need a little reminder, the sticky sitch between the stars started last summer when Hathaway took to Instagram to post a (quickly deleted) pic of her Alice Through the Looking Glass co-star, Helena Bonham Carter, which read, “In a world of Kardashians… Be a Helena Bonham Carter.” Ouch.
Though the Kardashians are definitely used to peeps throwing shade their way, fans were quick to call Hathaway out for her seriously un-cool behavior and remind her that there’s no need to tear some women down while attempting to elevate others.
The Princess Diaries star apologized, but it wasn’t until the two met IRL that their feud was finally buried.
We’ll soon be able to see Hathaway as Daphne Kluger in the upcoming Ocean’s 8 film, which will also see Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner popping up in highly publicized cameos. And while Anne admits, “We didn’t work together that much,” she only has nice things to say about the famous siblings, adding, “Totally sweet people.” And when asked specifically about Kim, Hathaway kept up the compliments, saying, “She’s so sweet. All the Kardashian girls are great.”
Perhaps a play-date is in order for these two Hollywood mamas?
