These February Fashion Launches Are Giving Us Serious Heart Eyes
February has arrived bringing with it plenty of reasons to celebrate. Like getting glammed up for a special Valentine's Day date, counting down our last winter wardrobes wears, and maybe even packing for a warm-weather getaway. And thanks to some fresh fashion launches this month, we're ready for all of it. Scroll on to see how Eugenia Kim takes on bridal, Cuyana expands to body, and Jenny Bird creates some wearable love.
Madewell Sidewalk Collection ($68+): It's easy to be obsessed with Madewell. Their denim is like butter and they do wearable basics really damn well. Now, they've added footwear to their list of in-house designs and we want them all. The collection doesn't officially go on sale until February 12 but Madewell Insiders will have early access on February 8.
Jenny Bird Love Collection ($70+): These heart-shaped designs have already gotten lots of celeb love from Jodie Comer and Saoirse Ronan (to name a few) and we can see why. Just in time for V-Day, the studs, hoops, and pendant necklaces are all available in gold or silver-dipped brass to carry special meaning. "These pieces were made to remind us to lead with love and compassion in our day-to-day interactions with each other," says Bird.
Birdies Resort Collection ($95+): Inspired by the tropics, these shoes belong in your vacation bag stat. Slip into two new styles from the footwear favorite — both open-toed with fringe and the brand's signature satin quilting. Choose from marigold, sangria, black suede, azure, or peach.
Kona Sol Swim ($18+): Make the bikini work for *your* body in Target's new size-inclusive swimwear line. Kona Sol delivers thoughtfully designed swimsuits and cover-ups in sizes XS to XL, with some styles also available in 14W to 26W.
Alala x Alison Malee ($15+): In collaboration with NYC-based poet Alison Malee, the athleisure brand's new collection includes a tote, tank, and a hoodie, all with a powerful statement. The mantra, "We are strong. We are courageous, We are empowered," is meant to inspire women while keeping us looking and feeling good.
Mejuri Unisex Signet Rings ($60+): ICYMI, signet rings are still all the rage. Mejuri just made the market even better with a wearable unisex we're loving. Available in sterling silver or 14K gold, the new line features a square, a mini square, an enamel square, and an enamel mini square style.
Pop-In@Nordstrom Up & Away ($225+): Only available in Nordstrom's new travel shop through February 24, Away's exclusive primary color palette will never go out of style. Brighten up your Insta feed, keep your travel essentials secure and organized, and be the trailblazing traveler you've always wanted to be.
Beyond Yoga x Poketo ($60+): If 2018 taught us anything, it's that we collectively go nuts for throwback fashion. So when a yoga wear company and a lifestyle brand team up to create printed athleisure that's clearly inspired by Save By The Bell-era patterns — we're in. Rock your reformer in high waisted leggings, biker shorts, and a cropped hoodie a la Kelly Kapowski.
Rent the Runway Unlimited Expansion ($159/month): New year wardrobe fatigue is real and in response, we're finally pulling the trigger on the popular subscription fashion service. It's the ideal way to wear fabulous and often pricey labels (like Gucci and The Kooples) without racking up the crazy debt. And, if you end up *loving* something you can buy it for a discounted price. This month, RTR Unlimited is adding over 100 more designers (like Rag & Bone, J.Crew, and Club Monaco) so it's clearly a win-win-win situation.
Eugenia Kim Bridal Collection ($145+): For the bold bride looking to stand out on her special day comes some fabulously over-the-top looks we absolutely adore. Think *outside* the veil with Kim's whimsical take on a bridal beret, a giant blush bow, and an ultra-fancy fedora.
Vans Classics Patchwork Pack ($65+): Ring in the return of spring style with colorful kicks! Vans' retro take on three classic styles is '70s-inspired using vivid colorways, with each pair patchworked using a mix of suede, canvas, and leather.
Olivia Culpo x Express ($35+): Empowerment fashion is in and this "GRL PWR" collection is designed for the fashion girl on the go. Made up of 32 versatile pieces, the capsule includes everything from sparkly sequins to sophisticated sweats. We're especially feeling Culpo's leather jorts, an elevated new take on the bike short trend.
SteamLine Red + Lip Print Luggage ($240+): Nothing says Valentine's Day like hot red luggage with a lip print patterned interior. This vegan leather collection consists of a hatbox, a vanity case, a briefcase, an overnighter, a carryon, and a stowaway — thankfully all will look good traveling with you to Havana, Reykjavik, or Bali. You choose.
Wolf Circus Clea Chain ($72): We've embraced 2018's dad sneaker trend, now meet the dad chain. Available in gold filled or sterling filled silver, the retro-inspired style is destined to become your jewelry staple of 2019. Layer with all the gold or take a more minimalist route and wear it sassy and solo.
Veja CAMPO ($150): The French footwear brand is back at it with a sneaker style made from waxed canvas and corn waste. That's right, the CAMPO's alternative leather look is completely sustainable and made from 63 percent biodegradable fabric. And we thought we had too many shoes.
Cosabella x ELOQUII ($40+): Level up your V-Day lewk with ELOQUII and Cosabella's sexy, size-inclusive styles. The 16-piece intimates collection is comprised of luxe lingerie and cozy sleepwear sets all available in sizes XL to 5X.
Cuyana Body ($65+): Judging by their high-quality handbags and sophisticated take on women's workwear, Cuyana is likely to dominate this new category with three seamless bodysuits and two pairs of seamless leggings. Looks like we've found the comfy, everyday outfit foundation we've been waiting for.
Aldo Lunar New Year Collection ($15+): Let's ring in the Lunar New Year and usher in all the good fortune while wearing some poppin' red kicks. Aldo's limited-edition shoe and accessory range of printed mules, spicy sneakers, and bold handbags are all in the lucky color of red.
