Gigi Hadid: Supermodel, Designer and … MasterChef?
As if it isn’t enough that Victoria’s Secret model Gigi Hadid is beautiful, famous and runs in rarified celeb circles — she is one of the Insta-babes whose single post can earn her a cool million dollars due to her enormous influential following — she recently added designer to her list of accomplishments when she was appointed design collaborator and face of Tommy Hilfiger. Now she may soon add MasterChef.
In upcoming MasterChef episode “Celebrity Showdown” Hadid will compete with fellow Victoria’s Secret model Devon Windsor. Both ladies are fronting their chosen charities: Global Lyme Disease Alliance and St. Louis Children’s Hospital, respectively. (Hadid’s mom suffers from Lyme disease.)
In a promo clip for the show Hadid confesses to host Gordon Ramsey that she gets “starstruck” over chefs, a comment that will likely send a stampede of bachelor chefs beating a path to her door. We also learn that she may have the culinary chops to win — she once won a cooking contest in her home town.
