H&M’s Next Big Designer Collaborator Has Us Flipping Out
If you thought Target’s new Hunter collab sold out quick, brace yourselves: H&M has just named its next designer collaborator, and it’s one that’s sure to cause a shopping frenzy.
On the heels of its Erdem x H&M mashup, the fast-fashion retailer is partnering up with yet another celeb-favored brand that has us freaking. out. Say hello to Moschnio [tv] H&M — a brand new, budget-friendly line from the fashion house’s creative director, Jeremy Scott!
H&M dropped the news in an Instagram announcement last night, writing, “We’re collaborating with fashion’s most fun and charismatic brand, MOSCHINO.”
For Scott, the partnership couldn’t have come at a better time. “I no longer do my collaboration with Adidas, and sadly, until now, I haven’t really had another way to service the fandom,” he revealed to Vogue. “This collaboration makes me feel like I’m able to give something again… I love that this is something that will be affordable.”
He isn’t kidding — the line will reportedly ring in between $25 and $300 and include roughly 45 women’s pieces (plus accessories) with 20 for men.
The fashion guru also dished a few deets about the upcoming wares, telling the outlet, “There’s a silver sequined parka dress. Denim pieces are all twisted into something else. Puffers and jackets are reconfigured into cropped things or double-long things. There’s a sportswear-with-evening kind of feeling, like a hockey jersey with a train.”
That killer Moschino Biker Jacket Clutch ($1,065) will also be available, albeit in a much smaller version. “We’re doing the tiniest biker bag ever,” Scott said. “It could be a necklace. It could hold a lighter or nothing.”
The collection will available in select stores November 8.
