Instagram Will Soon Let You Save Drafts
We spend countless hours on Instagram — especially after the new Snapchat-like “Stories” update. We wile away time not only scrolling through our feeds and sourcing outfit inspo, but debating over filters and editing techniques. And Instagram has been listening to our prayers. Now, after you’ve spent time editing a photo to perfection but need to step away from the app for a second, Instagram will let you save a draft.

The “save draft” option has been in testing for a while, and Instagram just rolled it out to a larger audience. However, not everybody has it yet, so you may need to be patient. If you do have the app, you can find it after making edits to your photo. When you press the back button, a box will pop up with the option to save a draft of your photo or discard edits. The saved drafts will appear at the top of Instagram’s editing screen inside of a “Drafts” folder.
As with all new features and tests, we’ll just have to be patient and hope that we’re magically selected soon.
