Kourtney Kardashian might not make the headlines that Kim does (Taylor Swift video leaks, anyone?) or create the social media buzz that Kylie regularly stirs up (though Kylie totally twinned with Kourt’s ’90s platinum style), but that doesn’t mean she can’t hold her own within the famous family. The 37-year-old mother of three is all about being a strong-willed, nurturing mama, on top of being just as likely as her siblings to post sizzling poolside selfies. But that doesn’t mean there are things they do that don’t downright terrify her, i.e. nude selfies and weddings.
She recently invited Cosmo into her “stupid-big” home to be interviewed for their October issue and, of course, revealed some pretty interesting tidbits. They talked about how her sis, Kim Kardashian, is well-known for her nude selfies. She’s proud of her bod, and has taken multiple shots showing off her various bits or full-on nude bod.
But Kourtney, on the other hand, hasn’t posted anything of the sort. “It’s just not my thing,” Kourtney revealed, adding, “I’m confident to a degree but I don’t like to post too much where it’s like trying to be too sexy. I mean, I’ve posted ones in my lingerie — or Snapchatted them — because that’s what I wear when I’m getting ready. Like a bra, underwear, robe. I definitely do that but I’m never really taking photos of myself fully naked. It’s out of my comfort zone. Maybe because I have three kids.”
But if you think that means that Kourtney more easily embraces the “traditional” things in life, like heading down the aisle, think again. “A wedding terrifies me,” she admitted. “I like tradition; I don’t have anything against that. I think it’s more fear of walking down the aisle in front of all those people. I don’t like being the center of attention.” Say whaaa?
If she had said “I do” when she was with Scott, she admits, “I don’t think we would’ve done a big wedding — we would’ve done something really small, just us and our kids.” It’s hard to imagine a Kardashian doing anything on a small scale, but we still think this sounds like a nice idea.
