These Celebs’ Manicures Actually Support an Amazing Cause
Each New York Fashion Week our favorite celebrities walk the runway in red for The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women: The Heart Truth Red Dress Show to bring awareness to heart disease during New York Fashion Week. This year, their manicures *almost* stole the night’s thunder.
Katie Holmes, in Marchesa, hosted the night that featured country singer Jessie James Decker, Orange Is the New Black actress Diane Guerrero, trans activist and YouTuber Jazz Jennings, actress Lucy Lawless, actress Maureen McCormick and more who strutted their stuff down the runway at Hammerstein Ballroom.
While the dresses alone are enough to make anyone go red, take a look at their manicures. For the third year, many of the ladies rocked Jamberry’s Heart Health Awareness nail wraps ($15), from which $2 benefits the American Heart Association.
Like what you see? You can get in on the action and buy Change of Heart, Labor of Love and Love Is Strong nail wraps ($15) from now through March 31. To date, the nail brand has raised more than $155,000 for the AHA.
