You’ll Want These New Bike Bags Even If You Don’t Bike
The modern woman is always busy, and a good bag makes all the difference. She’s running to and from work and social functions and needs a bag that is a tough as she is… but also as stylish. San Francisco-based company Timbuk2 is known for making rugged bags for bikers and other commuters, but recently they decided to produce a more feminine line for the gal on the go. And all we can say is, they totally nailed it.
Called Femme, the line of four bags can easily make the transition from day to night. The use of leather paneling makes these bags strong, but accents like snakeskin and luxe colors give these bags a fancy feel. They’re the bag equivalent of Olivia Pope — ruthless but oozing glamour.
They’re fit for every kind of commuter, too — not just cyclists. Besides their classy twist on a classic messenger bag (read: all-leather construction), there’s a boxy tote with silver edging, a fanny pack for anyone who needs to run from point A to point B and a color block satchel that gives the primary color palette its chicest makeover yet.
Three’s no denying these bags are a wee bit pricey (they’re in the four-hundred-dollar range). But think about it: some shmancy designer purses cost as much, and could you take those bags on your bike? Didn’t think so.
Which of these bags would you rock? tell us in the comments!
