Yes, burgers聽and meaty pasta聽are drool-worthy,聽but they鈥檒l also leave you聽feeling lethargic for the rest of the day. Solution? Use聽jackfruit instead. This unique food looks and tastes like shredded meat when cooked. It鈥檚 delicious, healthy, and won鈥檛 make you feel like you need to unbutton that top button on your pants. While we鈥檒l show you how to use jackfruit for tacos, you can literally 鈥 and we mean literally 鈥 use it for anything.

1. Place garlic in a large skillet with oil over medium heat. Let it simmer for 1-2聽minutes.

2. Open and drain the can of jackfruit and pour the jackfruit over the garlic. Let it cook for 2-3聽minutes.

3. Sprinkle with chili powder, cumin, and paprika, and continue to let the jackfruit cook for 10 minutes.

4. Next, take a spoon and carefully press down on each jackfruit, smushing it until it looks like shredded meat.

5. Add lime and mango BBQ聽sauce and toss until the jackfruit is completely coated. Add salt and pepper to taste, if you聽want it to be saltier.

6. After you lower the heat and let the jackfruit simmer a minute or two more, slice the tomatoes and radishes and chop the cilantro.

7. Take the jackfruit off the stove, and add all the ingredients (jackfruit, tomato, corn, radishes, guacamole, cilantro) into a tortilla.

8. Serve immediately.
