Jennifer Lopez’s Super Sweet Message of Support for Marc Anthony After His Mother’s Death Will Melt Your Heart
Jennifer Lopez may have moved on from ex-husband Marc Anthony with Alex Rodriguez (who recently shared the hilarious downside to dating the singer), but that doesn’t mean there’s any love lost between the two. The 48-year-old made that point loud and clear yesterday when she took to Instagram in a show of support for the “Vivir Mi Vida” crooner following the untimely death of his mother.
Four days after requesting prayers for his mom, Guillermina Muñiz, via Twitter, the 48-year-old shared the heartbreaking news that she had passed away, saying that “she left in peace, accompanied by all your prayers and well wishes.”

While the details surrounding her death are yet unknown, the love and support Anthony’s family is showing is apparent. Lopez, for one, uploaded a heartwarming shot of her twins’ father engulfed in a group bear hug from each of his six children.
“Just what the doctor ordered,” she wrote. “Surrounded by love. ❤️ “
She also added a slightly more personal tribute to her former mother-in-law, adding, “Descansas en Paz Ginny…te vamos a extrañar,” or “Rest in peace, Ginny… We’ll miss you.” Awwww!
Kudos to Jennifer for being so gracious in her ex-husband’s time of need, and our sincerest regrets to Marc.
