“I asked…she said yes!…And we lived happily ever after,” Stamos captioned an illustration of the couple in front of Disneyland’s iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle. He also included an engagement ring emoji, because why not?
Stamos’ rep confirmed to People that the proposal took place at the theme park, a place they love to visit. Stamos reportedly made a short film compilation of romantic moments from Pixar and Disney films, capping it off with a scene from The Little Mermaid telling him to “just ask the girl,” a play on the film’s famous “Kiss the Girl” song.
The pair then met their families for a celebration at Disney’s “hidden” restaurant, 21 Royal, located in Walt Disney’s old apartment on site.

McHugh recently posted a pic of the pair walking down the park’s Main Street hand in hand. “I’ll always be the #Mickey to his…..whatever he feels like wearing,” she joked in the caption, which, in hindsight, takes on a whole new meaning. Congrats to the happy couple!
