Meet the Gorgeous Lingerie Model Born Without Legs
Inspiring body positive stories come from anywhere and everywhere. Kanya Kesser has an incredible story. She was born in Thailand and adopted to the USA when she was five years old, but the most amazing thing about her is that she was born without legs and she hasn’t let that impede her in the least. The 23-year-old is currently making a living as a lingerie model and not just redefining what sexy is — but smashing conventional beauty ideals and leaving them in her wake.
In an interview with Caters News, Kanya said, “I’m different and that is sexy, I don’t need legs to feel sexy.” Amen, sister. Being born different presents its challenges, of course, like the fact that sometimes you get unwanted attention. But her attitude is super inspiring, because she refuses to view it as a handicap. “Yes, people do stare at me,” Kanya says, “but when people stare at me or look at me, I just think, ‘Okay, cool. I’m a celebrity.'”
Kanya also revealed that she is currently training for the Winter Paralympics for monoskiing in South Korea 2018. The incredible young woman skates, models, snowboard, surfs and races.
Her motto is “No legs, no limits” and her life is definitely exemplifying that.
