The Trailer for the Third and Final Season of Netflix’s ‘Love’ Will Make You All Kinds of Emotional
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Netflix has released the official trailer for the upcoming third — and final — season of its painfully realistic rom-com Love, and it’s sure to have you feeling all sorts of emotional.
In the trailer, we get an overview of all the ups and downs that Mickey (Gillian Jacobs) and Gus (Paul Rust) have been through in the past two seasons, with them ultimately deciding to give their rocky relationship a real shot at the end of season 2.
Things pick up from there, and while the pair seem happy in the short snippets we’re shown in the trailer, the chaos that continues to surround them — not to mention their insecurities, addiction issues, and immaturities — will no doubt come into play as they try to make it work.
Plus, what will come of Mickey’s loyal friend and roommate Bertie and her slacker boyfriend Randy — and why is he living in a car?!
Judd Apatow, the co-creator and executive producer, promised back in December that the final season would be a satisfying finale for fans. “I am really excited about the third season of Love,” he said when the show’s cancellation was announced. “I think it is our sweetest, funniest season and ends our story in a beautiful way.”
Check out the trailer below, and watch the third and final season of Love when it premieres on Netflix on March 9.
