The latest celeb to reveal the unusual diet behind their coveted Hollywood figure is none other than the Diva to rule all divas, Mariah Carey. In a recent interview with E! News, the songstress said she only eats — count them — two foods.


“It’s really hard. My diet, you would hate it,” Mariah said. “All you eat is Norwegian salmon and capers every day. That’s it.” She’s not serious, right?

“I’m actually serious,” she added. “I try to stick with the proteins. It’s the worst.”

Earlier this year, Mariah went on a strict protein diet when she was planning her nuptials to now ex-fiance James Packer. So this seems like a slightly (AKA very much) more restrictive version of her pre-wedding eating plan. Again, if you’re keeping track: The menu includes salmon, a healthy omega-3 packed protein, and capers, basically edible flower buds. However, Mariah has a Grammy-winning five-octave vocal range and legs insured for $1 billion, so who are we to judge?
