ModCloth Is Teaming Up With Malala for a Really Cool Reason
Upcycling, recycling, thrifting, consignment: Whatever you want to call it, it’s one of our favorite things about fashion. Giving clothing a second life not only helps with your wallet and the environment, but now it can also help Malala. Yep, that Malala! The Malala Fund has teamed up with secondhand clothing charity Schoola and Internet favorite ModCloth to help you find cool clothes at deeply discounted prices, all for charity.
The ModCloth for Malala mini store within Schoola has all your favorite ModCloth items — including their quintessential colorful and brightly printed fit and flare dresses — at more than 50 percent off the usual ModCloth prices. The best part is that 40 percent of that purchase goes directly to the Malala Fund, helping girls get a full 12 years of education around the world.
The partnership is one of many that Schoola hopes to continue with in the future. You can also get your community involved in this clothing drive. Just fill out this form, and they’ll send you a donation box for Malala. You can also register a school in your community for its own clothing drive, with benefits going directly back to the school. Shopping for good causes is the best kind, don’t you think? Learn more about how you can stand #withMalala here.
