Apple announcements (like yesterday鈥檚 big fall event) always come along with their fair share of excitement and buzz around what鈥檚 been done right and what鈥檚 been done oh-so-wrong. In the 鈥渨oo鈥 category is the fact that Apple has just announced that they鈥檝e revamped their earbuds. In the 鈥淲TF鈥 category is the fact that these (easy-to-lose) wireless earbuds will cost you a cool $160. That鈥檚 more than a little pricier than peeps expected鈥 and they are not happy.

Though the earbuds come with a W1 wireless chip and have five hours of battery life, there are certainly drawbacks. The fact that they鈥檙e tiny and wireless have folks convinced they鈥檒l be lost in the blink of an eye, not to mention that they require separate charging AND that you鈥檒l need to shell out shy of $200 to pick 鈥榚m up in the first place (not to mention a few hundred more when they鈥檙e inevitably lost).

Twitter was hit fast and furiously with reactions, with more than a few peeps expressing their disappointment鈥

While others were ready to call it then and there鈥
