After over 10 years since the beloved television show Scrubs ended, but it's finally coming back to your TV screens, starring so many of its original stars. This news is basically the yin to The Pitt's medical drama yang — and I honestly can't wait! Scroll to find out everything we know about the Scrubs revival so far!

What will happen in the 'Scrubs' reboot?

The reboot series will follow J.D. Dorian and Christopher Turk, who team up after a long time apart. Medicine has evolved, the interns have changed, but their friendship has endured through it all. There will be new and old characters, all navigating Sacred Heart with "laughter, heart, and some surprises along the way,” according to the season's tagline. According to Variety, show creator Bill Lawrence said, “Scrubs means so very much to me. So excited for the chance to get the band back together." Lawrence also told Deadline that he sees the reboot as a "hybrid between a revival, revisiting original characters a decade and a half after the original series ended its run, and a reboot, bringing back the original concept with new surgical interns."

Who's in the 'Scrubs' reboot cast?

The three original cast members are set to star in the reboot: Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke. The cast has stayed in close contact since the original Scrubs ended. Faison and Braff co-host a Scrubs podcast called "Fake Doctors, Real Friends" and have done T-Mobile ads together.

Braff and Faison had expressed strong interest in reviving the show, but only if Bill Lawrence was involved. Soon enough, Lawrence told fans during a panel, "We're going to do it. You guys know we're going to do it." .

The rest of the cast includes:

Who is behind the 'Scrubs' reboot?

Braff, Faison, and Chalke are all set to executive produce, alongside Bill Lawrence, the show's creator. Hobert helped write, executive produce, and produce Scrubs, and Batra was also a story editor and writer. Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer will be executive producers through Lawrence's production company, Doozer

When will the 'Scrubs' reboot come out?

Scrubs will fall second in line to the new ABC drama 9-1-1: Nashville, which is premiering this fall. Scrubs will most likely debut halfway through that season. Look out for it!
