7 Shows Like 'The Paper' To Watch While You Wait For 'The Office' Spinoff

The news industry has always been tumultuous, but over the last decade, it's especially piqued people's interest (for obvious sociopolitical reasons). So, whether you find yourself anxiously waiting for tomorrow's front page or just want to get a behind-the-scenes look at how news gets produced, you can turn to your very own TV screen.
There are plenty of shows, from dramas to comedies, that dive deep into the triumphs and turmoil of journalism. One of the most highly anticipated series in this genre, The Paper, is set to debut in September 2025.
The mockumentary will be like a spin-off of The Office, following the same documentary crew that filmed Dunder Mifflin as they film employees of The Truth Teller, a fictional newspaper in Toledo.
Fans of The Office and journalism alike are already on the edge of their seats. But if you want to get a dose of the fast-paced work and deadlines a bit sooner, you can add these other journalism-focused shows to your queue.
