The rat’s nest, the Texas Tease, the “Snooki”, the back comb… all words to describe the act of adding a burst of volume around the crown of your head. It was all the rage in the 50s and 60s and is making a massive comeback today. (If you live in the South, where I come from, it never really left.)
It’s the easiest way to make your limp hair look voluminous and sexy, but so many women have yet to master how it’s done. In fact, products like the BumpIt are being sold by the millions because most women think it’s easier to put a piece of plastic in your hair rather than to learn how to tease it properly. Watch as Brit and Misty show you how easy it is while also demonstrating a few simple and chic hairstyles along the way, including the “pony with a pomp,” the “down ‘do” and the ever-popular “faux bob.”
