‘The Vampire Diaries’ Alum Steven McQueen Is Engaged to Model Alexandra Silva
More exciting news for the Vampire Diaries family! Not even two months after Claire Holt revealed that she’s set to wed Andrew Joblon, her former costar Steven McQueen has announced that he’s engaged to model Alexandra Silva.
Known to The Vampire Diaries fans as Elena’s brother Jeremy Gilbert — and to Chicago Fire viewers as Jimmy Borelli — McQueen took to Instagram to share his big news on Thursday, posting a pic of himself and his love kissing over a romantically set dinner table. If you look closely, you can get a glimpse of Silv’s new engagement ring.
The 29-year-old actor added the simple yet telling caption, “She said yes.” The bride-to-be shared the same pic on her personal account, writing, “My best friend, love of my life…YES, yes yes a million times over @steven_r_mcqueen.”
The pair have been going strong for a while now, with Silva often showing up on her bae’s social media account. (They made their Instagram debut back in December 2016.) Whether they’re basking in the picturesque magic of a waterfall, dressing up as superheroes, or building homes in Nicaragua, they certainly seem to enjoy every moment of their romance.
