Anthro’s Collab With Model Liya Kebede Feels like Summer
As if we needed another reason to love all things Anthropologie, their new summer collab with Lemlem is making us fall in love all over again. Fresh and bright, saturated with neon colors, stripes and natural textures, these pieces will easily transform your home into a summer paradise. Whether your style is neutral Scandinavian or boho glam, these pieces are the perfect balance of neutral shades with pops of color.
In case you don’t know what Lemlem is, it’s the fashion line from supermodel, actress, maternal health advocate and World Health Organization ambassador Liya Kebede. Born in Ethiopia, Kebede launched Lemlem in 2007 as a way to support the weavers of her home country while preserving their traditional methods. The 15-piece collection she designed for Anthropologie includes bed and bath items, as well as some home fragrances (coming in June) that we can’t wait to start sniffing. The collection really does capture the light-filled breeziness of summer.
As you would expect from a fashion lover and model, the color palettes of these Gigi Pillows ($58) and Maleda Towel Collection ($8- $36) are spot on, with trendy shades like blue and orange and peach and pink. Not only is the collection majorly pretty, but the partnership also supports Lemlem’s passion for philanthropy and helps extend maternity care to mothers around the world. Now if that’s not a good reason to add some new decor pieces to your home, we don’t know what is.
