Surf Pro Bethany Hamilton’s First Baby Photo Is the Most Adorable
After an inspiring pregnancy — staying on her surfboard and taking dips in the ocean throughout — surfer Bethany Hamilton and her husband welcomed their son into the world. Just like every other celeb + new parent worldwide, this adventurous duo gave their little one a creative baby name that you don’t hear everyday.
On June 1, Bethany and her husband Adam Dirks (also a surfer) welcomed their first child, son Tobias to their family. Not only is the little guy’s given name a unique one, it also is super meaningful to the couple. The proud new mom shared on Instagram that Tobias was named after his great grandpa. She also included the meaning of the name: “The goodness of God.” Fitting for this Hawaiian-living family.
Not one to shy away from a bathing suit or the water, the surfer who survived a shark attack at the age of 13, had countless maternity shoots on the beach and under the ocean. Looks like Kristin Cavallari should be taking some seaside maternity style inspo from this badass mama. <3 Now when do we get to see the first pics of Tobias hopping on a surfboard, or at least a boogie board?!
