This Is How Blake Lively Does Maternity Wear Cutouts
While out promoting her newest movie Cafe Society,Blake Lively has been spotted all over the country showing everyone how to rock maternity wear like a boss. She miraculously pulled off the unusual denim jacket + formal gown combo and also somehow managed to rock a corseted top to The Shallows premiere. While at a press conference for Cafe Society, Blake recently rocked this Jonathan Simkhai dress that featured cutouts in an innovative way.
While the sexy trend typically means showing off a chunk of your shoulder or obliques, Blake decided to interpret the look with a slightly less in-your-face alternative. The dress features the cheeky trend down the middle of chest via five circular cutouts. It’s not quite as obvious as how the look is normally worn but manages to offer up an unexpected element.
In fact, Blake isn’t the only celeb to rock with trend mid-pregnancy. Olivia Wilde also recently walked down the red carpet rocking both a baby bump and cutouts. Could this be the new iteration of elastic jeans? It feels like a firm “yes” from Hollywood.
