Blake Lively Pairs a Denim Jacket and Gown in a Totally WTF Look
Blake Lively has been busy on the media circuit, promoting her new movie, The Shallows, while also chatting about her hubby Ryan Reynolds and their ever-growing family. And while Blake in known to slay in both casual style and high-fashion alike, her latest look has mixed the two in a truly WTF outfit.
Blake wore a soft yellow Jenny Packham gown that glittered with floral embellishments across her chest, then flowed into a full-length skirt, covering her now-noticeable baby bump. With her makeup totally on point for a fashionable event, she added Mociun and Lorraine Schwartz bracelets as well as rings by Jennifer Meyer and Alison Lou, not to mention some seriously stylish turquoise and deep-blue drop earrings.
But the look took a serious turn for the wonderfully WTF when Blake threw a jean jacket on top. Yep, a jean jacket over a gown. Hmm. Granted, it wasn’t just any ol’ jean jacket: Blake was sporting a $118 denim style from Madewell, so even while leaning things to the laid-back look, the star still takes it up a mid-priced notch.
We’re assuming that this was just a temporary outfit while she traveled from one locale to another, but we’re still loving the super-casual, super-formal mix.
