Chrissy Teigen Gushing Over John Legend on Father’s Day Will Make Your Heart Burst With Joy
It’s been 11 years or so since Chrissy Teigen and John Legend first coupled up, but if you thought their cuteness factor would be slowing up any time soon, think again. The Lip Sync Battle host was visibly over the moon when her partner won a Tony last week (putting him just one award away from an EGOT: Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony), and now, she’s paying tribute to his parenting skills with an EPIC Father’s Day post to end all others.
“I took this photo right after John won his Tony a couple weeks ago,” she began. “In all our time together (11ish years!!?!?), I cannot believe how much he has grown as a man and a husband. To see him go from big goals to big ideas to big wins and the love of so many makes me so, so happy. 10 years ago, I didn’t think it could get any better, then I got to see him as a father. I don’t know how or why Luna, my family and I got so lucky in this life, but I will stop questioning and just be grateful. I love you so much John. Happy Father’s Day.”
Oh. Em. GEE! We don’t know about you, but our hearts are pretty much exploding. Legend’s not the only dad Teigen gave a shout-out too, either: She also shared a sweet snap of her own dad walking her down the aisle, writing, “Can’t forget the first important father in my life. The man who never stopped working to make sure we had the best life possible. I was so proud to hold your arm on this day and so proud to call you dad every day. Love, your booger nose goober.”
