Cindy Crawford and Her Daughter DIY on Rainy Days — Just Like You!
Well, folks, it’s official. Winter is upon us. While the colder months might mean a gorgeous snowy Instagram snap or two, it also means you’re probably in for your fair share of rainy days. When it’s gray and drizzly out and we’re cooped up indoors, it’s only a matter of time before the DIY projects start to happen. Maybe you’re determined to find a way to repurpose a mason jar or you decide to tackle that handmade notebook DIY you pinned a while back. Cindy Crawford and her daughter Kaia used their recent rainy day to make a joint art project.
Kaia teased her followers a few days ago when she posted a snap on her Instagram of her sitting next to a bunch of crafting supplies. She captioned her photo, “Curbside at Michaels.”
Then yesterday, Cindy posted this snap on her account writing, “A rainy day gold leaf art project with @kaiagerber — inspired by @patmcgrathreal #gold001.” Pat McGrath is an international makeup artist who made waves is the fashion world last fall when she painted all the models at a Prada show with shimmery gold lips. The pigment used on those models is a microfine pigment called Gold 001, which has a devoted cult following. If there was any DIY project that seems appropriate for a high fashion, modeling mother-daughter duo, we’re going to go ahead and say this is probably it.
