Tomorrow is National Donut Day. Really. It’s a real holiday and the fact that it is always on a Friday is the best thing the donut decision-makers of the world ever decided. Oh, and that whole thing where they collaborated with croissant connoisseurs was pretty cool too. But I digress. To celebrate this absurdly awesome holiday, we decided to whip up an easy way for you to temporarily transform your round sunnies into donuts.
Major props to Brit + Co designer Rosee Canfield for creating this awesome template. Now, let’s get to it!
Tools + Materials:
– white card stock
– Scotch® Double-Sided Tape
– round sunglasses
1. Print out our printable donut sunnies on card stock.
2. Cut out the donuts.
3. Use Scotch® Double-Sided Tape to attach them to your sunglasses.
4. Throw a donut party!
The first thing to do is find yourself a color printer, and print out our donut sunnies on card stock. Round sunglasses work best; we stocked up on a trio of shades in the B+C Shop, thanks to maker ZeroUV.
Then, use your scissors to cut out the donuts.
Don’t forget to cut out those donut holes too!
These ones are slightly less delicious than the real thing.
Use Scotch® Double-Sided Tape to attach these paper donuts to your sunglasses.
We made three pairs — one pink, one blue and one yellow. All with sprinkles, obviously.
Happy National Donut Day!
