For Love & Lemons Just Released the Affordable Boho Bridal Line of Your Dreams
The fashion world has been SERIOUSLY upping its bridal game as of late. In the past few months alone, we’ve seen a Breakfast at Tiffany’s-inspired collection from Reem Acra and an inclusive collection from Christian Siriano that goes up to size 26.
Though we love them both, they’re not exactly the easiest on the wallet — Siriano’s designs ring in as high as $17K! So what’s a fashion-forward bride on a budget to do? For Love & Lemons has your answer.
The brand has just released its first ever bridal collection of gowns and lingerie, and with dresses ranging between $250 and $800, it’s about as affordable as they come.
It’s not just your look for the big walk down the aisle that you can expect to find, either: shorter, coordinating looks for the days ahead of the big event are also available. “We really took to heart the full scope of the events throughout the weekend, and created styles for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and the ceremonies themselves,” founders Gillian Kern and Laura Hall explained in a press release.
Keeping with the gorgeous boho aesthetic we’ve long since admired in the brand’s summer frocks, Kern and Hall say the pieces were a result of followers’ requests. “Our customers always ask for white/bridal styles around this time,” they said. “They asked; we listened!”
The result is a breathtaking mix of layered tulle, 3D embroidered daisies (see the top Marguerite style, $675, above), and lace.
That’s not to say the designing duo didn’t add a bit of themselves into the mix, as well: “Inspiration was drawn from what we envision our own weddings to be like — dreamy, classy, and effortless.” Ladies? We’d say you nailed it.
