Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals If She’d Ever Get Back Together With Brad Pitt
20 years after ending their relationship of three years, Gwyneth Paltrow is answering the big “What If” about her former fiancé, Brad Pitt.
The Goop founder, who is reportedly dating another Brad in producer Brad Falchuk, recently held a Q&A with her fans, one of whom dared to go there by asking about her former love. Surprisingly, Paltrow didn’t shy away from answering.
“Someone wants Brad Pitt and I to get back together,” she says in the final moments of her video.
Considering that the actress revealed to Howard Stern back in 2015 that Pitt was“the one that got away,” it was certainly a fair statement. “I definitely fell in love with him,” she told Stern at the time. He was so gorgeous and sweet. I mean, he was Brad Pitt.”
Alas, Paltrow said the duo ultimately didn’t work because “I was a such a kid; I was 22 when we met. It’s taken me until 40 to get my head out of my a**. You can’t make that decision when you’re 22 years old… I wasn’t ready, and he was too good for me.”
It definitely doesn’t sound as though she’s lamenting her choices, these days: The 44-year-old dashed any would-be hopes for her online viewers of the couple shaking up anytime soon, despite the fact that Pitt is single. “I think that ship has sailed, Corey,” she revealed.
Fair enough, G. Fair enough.
