Here Are Some of the Top Secret Deets About Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph 2!
If you loved Wreck-It Ralph’s rebellious adventure against his former villainous ways, than you were certainly not alone. The animated film scored hard at the box office, bringing in movie fans and arcade-lovers alike. Following up on the hit film’s success, Disney has announced that Ralph will be at it all over again in his very own sequel.
Disney tweeted the announcement of Wreck-It Ralph 2! with the caption, “’I’m gonna wreck it!’ Again! @DisneyAnimation confirms a Wreck-It Ralph sequel. Here’s a first look at concept art.” Note the Gügle and Pictopedia for a couple of extra lolz.
The big news was first announced by John C. Reilly, who voiced the title character. Reilly broke the news to fans in a Facebook Live event, noting: “It’s top secret but I’ll tell you this much… Ralph leaves the arcade and wrecks the Internet. What could go wrong?” What, indeed!
The first movie also starred Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch, but there’s no news yet about any other returning cast members. We also don’t now (yet) about a release date or what kind of arcade mishaps Ralph might be getting into this time around. That said, we still can’t wait to see our fave game characters up to their old (and new) tricks.
