Hurry! Only a Few Days Left to Apply for This Year’s #IAMCREATIVE Grants
Have you always dreamed of taking your creative game to the next level but just needed that kick-start to get your venture going? Well, it’s time to apply to Brit + Co’s #IAMCREATIVE Foundation grants, because time is running out! Applications are due on July 31, 2016.
We at Brit + Co believe everyone is born creative, and our mission is focused on igniting the creative spark in all of us. Last year, we launched the #IAMCREATIVE Foundation, a fund designed to enable women and girls to get off the ground with their inspiring entrepreneurial endeavors. And this year, we’re doing it again, but time is running out to apply.
We’ll be accepting applications until July 31, which is but a few days away. To apply, tell us all about that big, amazing creative idea you have, and why you need help financing it. Show off the work you’re already doing and all your crazy plans to do that thing bigger and better. Projects will be scored based on innovation, education, planning, financial need and your mission. Grants from the #IAMCREATIVE Foundation are designated for female US residents who are 13 years or older. Candidates must also be open to sharing the outcome of their project on Brit + Co by contributing 2-3 posts on the site. The winners of this year’s #IAMCREATIVE Foundation grants will be announced at Re:Make 2016 in San Francisco on September 30. In addition to that grant check, you will be able to tap into a committee of rockstar creatives who will be serving as advisors.
