Malin Akerman Marries Jack Donnelly in a Dream Destination Wedding
Malin Akerman and Jack Donnelly are officially married! The couple, who got engaged in October 2017, walked down the aisle on Saturday, December 1, in a dream destination wedding in… Tulum, Mexico!
The lovebirds, who were first spotted together in March of last year, exchanged vows in front of family and friends right on the beach. The Billions actress stunned in an unconventional pink dress, People reports.
Akerman and her actor beau, who’s best known for playing Jason in the BBC series Atlantis, apparently knew each other for several years before they began dating. “[Jack] is actually my youngest sister’s boyfriend’s friend from drama school in England,” the bride revealed on Live With Kelly and Ryan in April. “I have known him for the past four years, but didn’t see him… Then all of a sudden he came back from England like a year-and-a-half ago, and I just kind of looked at him and went, ‘Wow, have you always been this cute? And this lovely?'”
He was an instant hit with her young son, Sebastian. “He was brilliant with my son and that was it, and my heart melted. You try to explain to a four-and-a-half-year-old that you’re getting married and what an engagement is, and he jumped up on the couch and went, ‘Yay, we’re getting married!'”
