All Your Childhood Dreams Can Come True, Thanks to Airbnb
The ’90s sure are getting some love this week. After we learned that all our childhood Disney faves would be available on Netflix and we watched Candace Cameron Bure slay “Ice Ice Baby” on The View, we now get word that we probably should plan that NYC vacay this summer, because Airbnb just listed what could possibly be the coolest crash pad ever — the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lair!
In the listing, created by leader Leonardo, the Turtles’ Tribeca loft can be seen in all its glory. There are boom boxes, TVs and video game stations, all sorts of totally tubular graffiti, an en suite glow-in-the-dark basketball court and even the classic Turtles arcade game. Every little touch is so perfect, right down to the Turtles’ weapon lockers and neon lights. The best part of the whole listing, though, is the price: the TMNT rental only costs $10 per night and comes with pizza! The whole thing has been created to promote the new Ninja Turtles movie coming out this summer, and it’s totally a piece of marketing genius, even if we highly doubt the movie will be half as cool as the apartment.
Now for the bad news: The lair is 100 percent booked up, so unless you know someone who already booked their stay, chances are you won’t be able to get into the place any time soon. And, depending on your Vanilla Ice love, you may be happy or sad to learn that the “Ninja Rap” rapper does not come with the listing.
